- Assignments included, patrol, traffic, Supervisor Chemical Test for Alcohol Unit, crash reconstruction, DWI detection, producing TV safety spots, teaching traffic safety in county schools and writing departmental policy.

- Freelance writer, Baltimore Evening Sun, Morning Sun and Sunday Sun Magazine
- Baltimore News American – Covered sports, golf, book reviews and wrote a crime column.
- Wrote, produced, and directed “Wheels of Death,” traffic safety video.
- Wrote original draft of “My Child is Missing,” narrated by John Walsh, America’s Most Wanted.”
- Wrote original story and co-wrote screenplay for the Hollywood motion picture “Misfit Patrol” which premiered at the Senator Theater.

- Wrote produced and directed television commercials for traffic safety

- Chief’s Award for winning National Association of Chief’s of Police along with Officer Lee Ches, by designing, writing and implementing a Baltimore County Traffic Safety Campaign, 1995
